Oracle Assessments Export
The OLA Assessments Export is a downloadable Zipper file available in the Assessment Reports section. It provides comprehensive data on Oracle instances, covering compatibility, sizing, and licensing details for cloud migration.
It is important to note that for the Oracle assessments export to be processed correctly, ensure to enable two packages on machines running Oracle DB: Statspack and Diagnostic Pack. Without these packages enabled, the report may not be processed correctly due to incomplete data collection.
Cloudamize supports exporting data gathered by our Windows and Linux agents from the Oracle Databases present on servers. Oracle data collection is now supported by the Windows and Linux agents, and even by the Cloudamize Agentless Data Collector.
Cloudamize Oracle Assessments export helps organizations plan cloud migrations for their Oracle databases. These reports gather detailed data on your current Oracle environment's performance and costs. Later on, it analyzes this data to recommend optimal cloud configurations, right-size resources (like CPU, RAM, storage) to match actual needs, and provide a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) comparison between your on-premises setup and various cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
The goal is to ensure cost efficiency, maintain performance, and simplify the migration process by identifying dependencies and suggesting suitable migration strategies for your Oracle workloads.
You can find the report in the Reports tab in the main results screen once your assessment results are published
Steps to Navigate to the Oracle Assessments Export:
Log in to the console https://console.cloudamize.com/#/
Navigate to the Analyze page of your completed assessment.
Click the View Details button beside your AWS results.
Click the Reports tab on the right-hand side of the screen to see the following:
