This article explains how to upgrade the Cloudamize agent to the latest version on Windows servers.
Overview
You can upgrade the Cloudamize Agent on a Windows server to the latest version by installing it over the existing agent. There is no need to uninstall the current agent first.
Prerequisites

Access: Administrator access on the server.

Network: The server must be able to reach the Cloudamize server over HTTPS (through your proxy, if you use one).
Upgrade Steps

Download the latest agent installer: Log in to your Cloudamize Console, select the Agent Setup tab, click Windows, and download the MSI installer (version
<version>or later. -
Run the installer as Administrator: Open a command prompt as Administrator and run:
msiexec /i CloudamizeAgent.msi CUSTOMERKEY="<your customer key>" /qn /norestart /l*vx msi_log.txt
If your servers use a proxy, add the following parameters to the command:
USE_PROXY=1 HTTPS_PROXY="<proxy host>" PROXY_PORT=<port>

Verify the upgrade: Check that the new version appears under Apps & Features and that the Cloudamize services are running.
Note: If the upgrade does not take effect, share the msi_log.txt file with the Cloudamize Support team.
